Sauder Office Furniture
I don't know if you're familiar with this line, but I absolutely love Sauder furniture
products. I have several pieces throughout my house, including an entertainment center, a lateral filing cabinet, a computer desk, a clothes
dresser and several bookshelves. We had a great dealer in our area with a nice store having hundreds of pieces on display. What I like is how
easy they are to assemble (or you could pay to have them do it for you), and once built the pieces never looked like they were "build it
yourself" models. They're sturdy, professional looking, and great pieces.
The furniture themselves come in a variety of styles and wood grain finished and colors. Almost anything you could need is available. Their
website has a pretty comprehensive catalog of what's available, in addition to what any competent dealer could show you. We found that our local
dealer had better prices than the website, so definitely show around when you want something. Many of the pieces were a matched set so if you had
a desk style you really loved there's certainly a dresser, bookshelf and file cabinet to match. This helps to ensure grain finish matching well.
The other nice thing is that if you happen to get a scratch or ding in it later, they give you these need little brown markers to fill in the
scratches. You'd never know there was anything there.
I particularly like the complete workstations because you can get desks, hutches, printer carts and bookshelves to all match and fit together
in one of several patterns. If you want your desk in the corner, they have one for that. If you have it in the middle of the room, like I do,
that's also an option.
I strongly recommend this furniture company and suggest you do some research to find a dealer in your area. For a lot less money that
something hand built or even in a regular furniture store you can get a great set of office furniture that will last a long time.
